Hi-

My name is Barney. I am an ex-machinist, ex-programmer, ex-IT-guy. I have written a novel and a half (which where eaten by a SCSI drive which was in league with Satan), drawn several hundred 1-panel cartoons (which I lost in a divorce), learned to play a bodhran (that round irish drum like Donal Lunney of the Chieftans plays) pretty well, and become a successful Grandfather.

I have learned more hanging around www.dolari.net about things that are REALLY important than I ever did in college (college didn't work out- ADD makes 2 hour lectures un-doable). If I post something that seems incredibly stupid, insensitive or naive, SAY SO and say WHY! I can't learn in a vacuum.
